Wears Valley Cabin Rentals
Some of the best views of the Smoky Mountains, combined with incredibly scenic surroundings and a more peaceful setting, make the cabin rentals on Wears valley perfect for many people who prefer a little more tranquility and nature with their luxury vacation cabin in the Smokies.
What's Different About Wears Valley?
Wears Valley is just a few miles to the west of Pigeon Forge, and yet removed from much of the bustle, lying in the area known as the Quiet Side of the Smoky Mountains. This location offers easy access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well as an entrance to Great Smoky Mountains national Park that bypasses going through Gatlinburg and also avoids the stream of traffic going to Cades Cove.
Wherever you go, every road you drive on from your Wears Valley cabin will be a scenic drive. Jog on down to the Elkmont area and an entrance to the national park or get acquainted with Little River Road heading towards Cades Cove or Gatlinburg. Or get up on the Foothills Parkway, for a great panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains on a pristine and quiet highway.
Don't ignore the fun town of Townsend, a little farther to the west, which offers several annual festivals and has a vibrant arts & crafts community, as well as a Heritage Center and a culture holding much of the history and Appalachian lore of the Smoky Mountains.
What's great about vacation cabin living?
There's not much rustic about our Wears Valley cabins except the surroundings of nature. Inside the cabin you'll typically find game rooms with pool table and numerous arcade and other table games. Flat screen TVs are placed in bedrooms and living areas, with Wi-Fi throughout. Grownups and kids can be fully occupied inside the cabin in their own worlds while others simply relax in the many spacious nooks and levels of the multi-story cabin.
The fully equipped, gourmet kitchen makes it fun to cook up dinner, breakfast or snacks while the crew gathers around the large dining table, or hunkers down in front of the fireplace. The washer and dryer mean going home in clean clothes and without vacation laundry in tow.
Just outside the doors is an extended world of relaxation, with a hot tub on the covered deck, and rocking chairs, and often a swing or even another TV. A little further afield are the mountains, visible above the trees all around. And when everyone's ready for outdoor adventures, the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are a short drive away.
How many people can share a vacation cabin?
Our 1-bedroom cabins can usually sleep 4 and often 6 people comfortably, with usually a hideaway queen bed and the bunks that kids love. Even these are often 2-story, and larger cabins can be multi-story, with several deck levels, offering plenty of nooks to relax in, and living and game spaces to gather in.
In our Wears Valley area cabins we offer many 1-bedroom cabins, as well as larger ones ranging up to 8-bedroom monsters, perfect for a small group retreat or a family reunion (and we have cabins in other areas up to 20-bedroom!)
